I'll be brief this morning.
Some dense fog will be possible across east central and southeastern OK through early morning. Some patchy fog may be possible near Tulsa, but so far, Tulsa county is not included in the dense fog advisory.
Mostly sunny and mild conditions will be expected today with highs in the upper 70s or lower 80s along with light south winds.
Friday night football will be cool but dry.
The weekend:
A major upper level low is cut off from the flow over the Midwestern part of the nation. This feature may retrograde slightly west today or southwest tomorrow, but should keep any rain away from our area.
We'll expect a few clouds Saturday with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s, but more cloud cover will be likely Sunday with highs in the mid 70s.
North winds will be present this weekend as a weak surface trough rolls across the region. The wind speeds may increase Sunday from the northeast at 10 to20 mph.
The pattern next week looks quiet and nice with a slight warming trend, which would place the highs above normal by the middle to end of next week.
Enjoy the weekend. I'll try to post more later this morning.
