STILLWATER, Oklahoma - -PGA Tour professional, and Oklahoma State alum, Rickie Fowler was in Stillwater, Okla. Thursday for their matchup against Arizona, delivering the game ball on a dirt bike.
The 35th-ranked golfer in the world attended Oklahoma State from 2007 to 2009, competing in the Walker Cup and was one of three amateurs to make the cut at the 2008 U.S. Open. Fowler was happy to be back in a place he had a great deal of success.
"This is a place that I had a lot of good times at. I love being here, I love being a Cowboy, so it's great to come back and be a part of it," Fowler said. "[The team's rise] has been fun to watch, getting to know some of the guys."
Fowlers' next tournament appearance will be in the BMW Championship in Lemont, Illinois.
