TULSA, Oklahoma -- Fire destroyed a home in east Tulsa early Thursday morning.
Neighbors called the Tulsa Fire Department at about 3 a.m. after seeing smoke pouring from the home in the 7400 block of East 15th Street.
By the time firefighters arrived on scene, smoke and flames were showing.
Firefighters had to back out of the home when the roof began to collapse. It took almost 45 minutes for them to bring the fire under control.
District Fire Chief Bob Stern says no one was home at the time of the fire and it didn't appear to be suspicious, but he said investigators are still looking into it.
