OKLAHOMA CITY -- Latimer County posted the highest unemployment rate at 9.7 percent in July, according to the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission.
LeFlore and McCurtain counties (9.4 percent) and Hughes County at 9.2 percent followed with the next highest unemployment rates.
The Oklahoma counties with the lowest unemployment rates include Rogers Mills County at 2.7 percent, Ellis County at 3.0 percent and Beaver, Dewey and Harper counties at 3.1 percent.
Tulsa reported a 6.4 percent unemployment rate for July, down from 6.7 in June.
