BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -- It is now official, David Boggs is the city of Broken Arrow's new police chief. Boggs, was sworn in Friday morning during a ceremony at Broken Arrow's city hall.
Boggs was named to the position in late July.

Boggs was most recently has served as Deputy Police Chief for the city of Lexington, Kentucky.
Boggs takes over for Todd Wuestewald who announced in December 2010 he was retiring. Boggs has been married for 22 years and has two children.
