OKLAHOMA CITY -- It is going to be very hot across much of Oklahoma on Wednesday. The National Weather Service has extended a heat advisory for 73 of Oklahoma's 77 counties into Wednesday night.
The only counties not included in the advisory are Adair, Beaver, Cimarron and Texas counties.
With the temps climbing into the 100's again, News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says there is also a chance of thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon as the temperature rises.

People who work outdoors or are in the heat for extended periods of time are urged to take extra precautions.
