TULSA, Oklahoma -- Children battling with cancer got to leave their mark on the side of a car Tuesday.
As a part of the Hope on Wheels program, children placed their hand prints in paint on the side of a Hyundai Santa Fe.
Tulsa Hyundai dealerships also awarded The Children's Hospital at Saint Francis with a grant for $40,000. The grant will go towards making children feel more comfortable during their treatment process.
"They focus so much on handling those side effects, and treating those side effects as well as treating the root cause of their problems. So every effort is made to make these kids comfortable," said parent Tim Nelson.
Thanks to the help of programs like Hope on Wheels nearly 80 percent of children diagnosed with cancer will survive.
