TULSA, Oklahoma –Police have arrested a man accused of robbing a Tulsa credit union twice in one week, thanks to a tip.
Detectives arrested Steven Deloney Monday in connection with two robberies at the Oklahoma Central Credit Union. The robberies happened on August 5, 2011, and August 12, 2011.
Police said in both instances, the 44-year-old walked into the credit union and implied he had a gun. He is being charged with two counts of armed robbery, detectives said.
Police said detectives were able to identify Deloney thanks to a Crime Stoppers tip.
No one was hurt in either robbery.
