Green Country Mother Found Insane In Son's Death Freed

UNDATED -- A Green Country woman who killed her son has been set free.

A judge signed her released from a mental health facility saying Tony Torres is no longer a danger to society.  But, she will still be supervised by the state Department of Mental Health.

Torres was declared legally insane and never stood trial.

Her 17 month old son drowned in the Spring River while her other son who was ten at the time screamed for help from the riverbank.

Torres told police God told her to do it.
