'Junkman' Helps Tulsa Homeowners Get Rid Of Unwanted Items

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Everyone has clutter, some more than others. It's easy to accumulate, but not so easy to get rid of.

Maybe we need to contact The Junkman.

Janna Biery has sold her house and is moving. Over the years, she has accumulated lots. Her realtor said to call the Junkman.

"We haul everything from household junk, to appliances, garage cleanout, yard waste, construction debris, pretty much everything but hazardous chemicals," said Lindsey Fox, the Junkman.

That's a lot and it's exactly what Janna Biery's looking for: someone to haul her stuff off.

Lindsey Fox:"Do the scooters work?"
Janna Biery: "They could, with some effort they could."

So the Junkman and his trusty sidekick Michael load the scooters and work their way through the rest of it.

So what happens to all of the items they collect?

"The mower, the scooters, the microwave, all that stuff gets recycled," Fox said. "If there's other stuff we can donate, we donate and recycle as much as possible."
