She told that family member she was going with another person on trip out of state and would return July 29, 2011. When she did not return, Taylor's family notified Okmulgee Police.
On July 29, 2011, Okmulgee Police interviewed Sweat and he told them he and Taylor had gotten into an argument while driving on U.S. Highway 75 between Okmulgee and Schulter. Sweat told police she got out of the car and that is the last time he saw her.
After a second police interview with Sweat on August 3, 2011, police say he changed his story and said the argument was on July 17, 2011 and it resulted in her death.
Okmulgee Police say Sweat gave them a location where they could find the body. Officers are now searching at that location.
