Tulsa Police Arrest Repeat Sex Offender For Lewd Molestation

TULSA, Oklahoma – A repeat sex offender is back behind bars, this time accused of molesting a minor, Tulsa Police said.

Jerry Waddle was booked into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of lewd molestation of a minor.

Police said the victim is a child of Waddle's friend.

Tulsa Police said the victim's family was notified by a neighbor that they had seen Waddle's picture on a website that contained registered sex offenders.

Police said after the family was notified, the victim's mother spoke to the victim and discovered Waddle, 41, had inappropriate contact with the victim.

Child Crisis Detectives say Waddle had a federal warrant out for his arrest for failure to register as a sex offender. Detectives issued a warrant for one million dollars for his arrest.

Waddle was arrested on July 27, 2011.
