OKLAHOMA CITY – Granite’s T-shirts beg those who read it to not give Red Oak the Class B title just yet.
On Saturday, the Panthers will get their chance to prevent it from happening.
Granite kept Arnett from pulling off a second straight upset with a 15-6 victory in an error-filled game Saturday in the semifinals at Dolese Park’s Palmer Field.
Although Granite pounded out 16 hits, only 10 of the Panthers’ runs were earned as Arnett committed eight costly errors.
Arnett committed three errors in an inning twice and two in the first. It was in the first that Granite got off to a quick start, plating six runs off the errors and five hits.
