OKLAHOMA CITY – The Jenks Lady Trojans were runner-ups for the fast pitch state title back in the fall, but they go back to Jenks with the slow pitch softball title in the spring. Jenks produced plenty of offense, defeating Southmoore 22-9 Wednesday at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium.
Junior Erin Miller hit a three-run homer for the Lady Trojans in the third inning. Jenks scored 10 times in the inning, and took a 11-3 lead into the bottom of the third.
Darcy Taylor added a two-run homer for Jenks in the top of the sixth inning.
