TULSA, Oklahoma – Wednesday was the first day of the regional baseball tournaments around the state.
One of the 5A regionals was a little strange. There were only 3 teams in the Bishop Kelley regional, so that changed the bracket a bit.
In the first game of the day, Memorial took on Collinsville. Both teams got off to a slow start in this one. The Chargers were the first team to warm up as they scored one run in the 2nd and two more in the 3rd. The Cardinals would slowly get going too. Unfortunately, they couldn’t stop the Chargers.
And when it was all said and done, Memorial had picked up the 8-3 win.
Both teams were still alive after this game. And because of the strange 3 team bracket, both teams would play their next game against Bishop Kelley.
