Booker T. Washington Advances to Championship
The Hornets will play for the Gold Ball and look for a repeat of last year’s state championship finish.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Booker T. Washington’s Korey Billbury scored 17 points to help lead his team to a 58-45 win over Tulsa Memorial.
The 13-point secures the Hornets’ ticket to the championship game, in which they’ll face the winner of the Edison/El Reno game, scheduled for noon.
The Chargers jumped out to an early start, closing the first quarter 18-12 after a 10-0 run, but the Hornets turned up the heat and pulled away in the second quarter of play.

Despite a 13-point performance by Memorial’s Demari Edwards, the Chargers ended their season 17-8.
BTW advance to the state title game for the 19th time, looking to make a repeat of last year’s Gold Ball season.
