The Chattanooga Lady Warriors advance to the State Semifinals, after defeating Beaver 44-35 in the quarterfinals.
Chattanooga took control of the game early and led 16-8 after the first quarter. But Beaver outscored Chattanooga 13-4 in the 2nd quarter and led 21-20 at halftime.
Beaver struggled offensively in the 3rd, and didn't score until 1:23 remaining in the quarter. Chattanooga led 26-24 at the end of the 3rd.
It was a two-point game with just less than six minutes to play in the game, but Chatty outscored Beaver 15-8 the rest of the way to pull out the win.
Jaime Brown battled foul trouble the whole night, but still had a game-high 19 points, scoring 10 of Chatty's first 20 points. Kallie Bogges added 12.
Erin Becker led Beaver with 12 and Anna McDonald added 10.
Chattanooga will face Calumet in the State Semifinals at 7:30 at the Big House. It's the second year in a row these two teams have met in the semis. Chattanooga won it 60-50 in 2010 and fell to Okarche in the State Championship.
Beaver finishes the season at 24-3.
