Lomega Lady Raiders Defeat Ryan Cowgirls

PURCELL, Oklahoma --Lomega’s Ashley LaGasse poured in 24 points and the Lady Raiders went on to defeat Ryan 63-34 Saturday.

Misty Hurley’s 3-pointer in the early moments of the game gave the Cowgirls a 5-0 lead, but the Lady Raiders responded with a run. Lomega closed out the first quarter outscoring Ryan 25-2. The Cowgirls were never a threat after the first quarter. Lomega increased its lead in the second quarter and led 37-15 at halftime.

Lomega is scheduled to play February 25 at Lawton in area play. Ryan also advanced to area play in the consolation bracket. The Cowgirls will play at Cache February 24.
