EDMOND, Oklahoma—Edmond Santa Fe point guard Courtney Walker continues to put up big numbers and get this, she is just in her junior season with the Wolves.

Tuesday, Walker scored 41 total points in Edmond Santa Fe’s overtime win against rival Edmond Memorial. She actually didn’t score in the first quarter of that game but had 32 points in the final three quarters and nine points in overtime.

Walker is the No. 34 player in the ESPNU HoopGurlz Super 60, and was named the preseason most valuable player in class 6A for the state of Oklahoma by Oklahoma Tipoff.

In December, Walker announced her verbal commitment to play college ball at Texas A&M University. She originally committed to Oklahoma, but after a visit to College Station she changed her mind.

Walker is looking to study computer engineering and the Aggies engineering program really got her attention.

During Tuesday’s win Texas A&M coaches were present to see Walker’s performance and she talks about her commitment to the Aggies and what she looks to improve on in her full interview above.
