TULSA, Oklahoma – Cascia Hall and Holland Hall are rivals. And on Tuesday night, the 2 teams played a thriller in front of a packed house.

With just 2 seconds left in the 4th quarter and Cascia Hall trailing by 3, Emily Ward tried to tie the game with a 3-pointer. But she was fouled on the play. She stepped up to the free throw line and calmly nailed all 3 free throws. But she wasn’t done. She then stole the inbounds pass and had a shot to win the game. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t fall, so the 2 teams headed to overtime tied at 54.

In OT, there was even more drama. The game was tied at 60 when Holland Hall’s Paris Townsend was fouled with 5.8 seconds to play. She missed the first free throw, and then knocked down the 2nd to give the Dutch a 1 point lead. Cascia Hall had one final chance. Emily Ward brought the ball up court and took an off-balance shot as time expired. It hit the rim, the backboard, the rim again, and then rolled off. And that was the ballgame.
