EDMOND, Okla. – It was a tale of two styles of basketball on Friday as the Enid Pacers held off the Deer Creek Lady Antlers, 58-48.
The Lady Antlers lived and died by the 3 while Enid used its quickness and defense to force turnovers and convert them into layups.
Deer Creek made several runs to keep up with Enid, but in the end the Pacers held off the Lady Antlers with solid free-throw shooting.
Courtney Chelf of Enid led all scorers with 22 points and Rani Melvin added 15 for the Pacers.
Alexa Adair had 14 points for Deer Creek.
