Midwest City Escapes Del City in Overtime

DEL CITY, Oklahoma—In boys high school hoops action, it took overtime to decide the winner of the high powered rivalry between neighboring schools Midwest City and Del City.

Midwest City tried to pull away, but the Eagles of Del City never let them out of their sights.

Despite keeping it a close scoring game on their home court, the Eagles eventually fell to the Bombers 58-56.

Midwest City is now 10-2 on the season while Del City is 8-4.

Both teams take the court again Tuesday, Jan. 18 as Del City hosts Westmoore while Midwest City travels to Norman North.
