Booker T Washington Tops Tulsa Memorial 58-48

TULSA, Oklahoma – In a top ten 5A matchup on Thursday, #1 Booker T Washington stayed undefeated by virtue of a 58-48 win over #9 Tulsa Memorial.

The Memorial Chargers started out the game frustrating the Hornets and led 15-11 at the end of the 1st quarter. The Chargers surrendered the lead in the second frame, but CJ Wells got a tough lay-up with less than a second left to pull the Chargers within 3 going into the half.

The Hornets were able to get the game under control in the second half, and came away with a ten-point victory. Booker T improves to 10-0 on the season, and will face Edison on Friday at the Expo Square Pavilion. Tulsa Memorial’s next game is Friday as well, when they will play at Tulsa Rogers.
