Bishop Kelley Beats Skiatook In Comet Invitational

TULSA, Oklahoma – On day 1 of the 9th annual Bishop Kelley Invitational, the host team suffered a tough overtime loss to Sand Springs.
On Friday night, the Comets bounced back.
Bishop Kelley took on Skiatook in the consolation semifinals. Early on, both teams were evenly matched. But the Comets showed their athleticism and took a lead over the Bulldogs that they would not give up.
Bishop Kelley ends up bouncing back from Thursday’s loss as they beat Skiatook 54-47. That puts the Comets into the 5th place game. In that game, they’ll be playing Cascia Hall and tipoff is Saturday evening at 5:30. Skiatook is now in the 7th place game. They’re opponent will be Holland Hall and that game starts Saturday at 4 PM.
