The Yellowjackets built an early lead and were able to wether a late push by the Demons.

KINGFISHER, Oklahoma -- The Kingfisher Yellowjackets advanced to their fifth consecutive state semifinal game with a 49-21 win over the Beggs Demons Friday.
Landon Nault started things off for the Yellowjackets (9-3) on the first play from scrimmage, scoring from 73 yards out to take a 7-0 lead. Nault tacked on one more, this time from four yards out, to take a 14-0 lead.
After a Beggs turnover, Kingfisher quarterback Derek Patterson connected with Jeremy Smith for a 36-yard score to take a 21-0 lead in the first quarter. Patterson added another in the second quarter with a 23-yard touchdown run to take a four touchdown lead. The Yellowjackets finished the half with a 35-0 lead.
The Demons (8-5) came alive late, but were unable to overcome the early deficit.
Kingfisher will now take on the Metro Christian (10-3) at a time, date and location that has yet to be determined.
