Glenpool Cruises Over Cleveland

The Warriors went to battle early in week eight with a big first half to tame the Tigers.

GLENPOOL, Oklahoma—The Glenpool Warriors continued their undefeated district play beating the Cleveland Tigers 54-27.

Glenpool (7-1, 5-0) went to work early intercepting two passes in the first three minutes of the game.

By halftime the Warriors led 40-7 thanks to Aldon Adkins who at the half had 12 carries for 215 yards and three touchdowns and Connor Ferrell who had one rushing, and one passing touchdown at the break.

Cleveland 6-2, 3-2) made a push in the second half, but it wasn’t enough to beat the Warriors who remain undefeated in district play.

Next up, Cleveland hosts Harrah and Glenpool travels to Douglass.
