Claremore Uses Fourth-Quarter Comeback to Beat Central

CLAREMORE, Oklahoma – The Claremore Zebras staged a fourth-quarter comeback to beat the Tulsa Central Braves 20-12 Friday.
Central (3-4, 1-3) held a 12-6 lead as the fourth quarter began, but could not put the game away. The Zebras (3-4, 2-2) scored a touchdown halfway through the quarter to take the lead, and added another late in the frame to finish the scoring.
Claremore has now won two of its last three games, while the Braves have lost three in a row. In those three games, Central amassed just 18 total points.
Claremore will face Grove (5-2, 3-1) next week, while Central will play Thomas Edison (2-5, 1-3).
