Trends Continue for Lawton and Edmond Santa Fe

EDMOND, Oklahoma – The Lawton Wolverines stayed undefeated Friday with a 20-0 victory over Edmond Santa Fe.

Lawton (5-0, 2-0) did not play Deaquan Wojciechowski in the first half for an unknown reason, but he scored a 23-yard touchdown in the second half to extend the lead to 17-0. The Wolverines added a field goal to finish the scoring, while the defense recorded its second shutout of the season.

Edmond Santa Fe (0-5, 0-2) continued to struggle on offense, suffering its second straight shutout and third of the season.

The Wolverines will face another winless team – U.S. Grant (0-5, 0-4) – next week, while Edmond Santa Fe will face Mustang (3-2, 1-1).
