Grove Ridgerunners Roll Past Central Braves

GROVE, Oklahoma – The Grove Ridgerunners continued their hot start to the season Friday with a 27-6 win over the Tulsa Central Braves.

Grove (4-1, 2-0) began the scoring in the first quarter with a short touchdown run by Buck Maples to take a 6-0 lead. Central (3-2, 1-1) responded with a touchdown pass from Milton Harper to Gerald Flanner Hardridge to tie the score, but it was all Grove from there.

The Ridgerunners remained undefeated in district play, with their only loss of the year coming by one-point loss to Wagoner. Grove will move on to face Coweta (3-2, 1-1) next week, while the Braves will play East Central (4-1, 2-0).
