MOORE, Oklahoma – The Moore Lions put up a solid defensive effort, but had their homecoming spoiled by Edmond Memorial as the Bulldogs posted a 21-6 victory.
After picking up its first loss of the season last week against PC North, Memorial came out strong in the game.
The Bulldogs’ offense started quickly, jumping out to a 7-0 lead on a Cale Olbert 44-yard touchdown run.
Moore managed a 23-yard field goal, but Olbert responded with another touchdown, this one 59 yards.
Olbert continued his career night with a 24-yard touchdown to give Memorial its 21-6 final margin.
Moore (0-5) will travel to Midwest City on Friday to take on the Bombers, while Edmond Memorial (4-1) will host the Choctaw Yellowjackets.
