Glenpool Track Renovations Delayed

Renovations to the Warriors’ track were delayed after someone accidentally stepped on the rubber base, causing damage.

GLENPOOL, Oklahoma -- The Glenpool Warriors will have to wait even longer to run on their track after someone accidentally stepped on the rubber-based pad before it was finished.

The damage to the track will cost the school $23,000, according to the school’s athletic director Reed Coody.

He said the track at the Chaffin Sports Complex will be temporarily closed to the public while the damages are repaired.

Coody did not have a timeline on when the repairs will be finished.
