Northwest Classen Holds Off Northeast for First Win

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Northwest Classen Knights won their first game of the season Thursday in a 40-34 squeaker over the Northeast Academy Vikings.

The Knights (1-1) recovered from a 27-9 Week 1 loss to John Marshall. The Vikings (0-2) threatened to take down a Class 5A opponent, but could not pull off the comeback.

Northwest Classen will take on Oklahoma Centennial on Sept. 17, while Northeast will face Riverside.
