MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -- The Booker T. Washington Hornets managed to earn their first win of the season with a two-point victory over the Carl Albert Titans.
Week one’s 12-10 win came on the road for the Hornets, as they traveled from Tulsa to Oklahoma City to face the Titans. After a rough 2009 season full of forfeits, B.T. Washington is looking for an opportunity to earn back their winning record and hopefully a spot in the playoffs.
They’re next obstacle will be the Broken Arrow Tigers in week two.
