TULSA, Oklahoma – Glenpool took down host Berryhill 54-14 on Friday night.
The game was all Warriors from the start. After the Glenpool defense forced Berryhill to punt on its first possession, Connor Ferrell weaved his way through the Chiefs defense and ran 85 yards for the first score of the season.
After another Warrior defensive stand, Glenpool started its next scoring drive. The key play came on 4th and 12 at midfield when Ferrell found Drake Stevens for a first down. A few plays later, Alton Adkins fought off defenders and dove over the goalline to give the Warriors at 14-0 lead.
Glenpool continued to pour it on and rolled to victory. The Warriors host Cascia Hall (0-1) next week, while Berryhill travels to Seneca (MO).
