NORMAN, Oklahoma – With inclement weather sweeping across the Oklahoma City area Thursday, multiple high school football games were postponed.
Norman and Norman North were scheduled to face off on Owen Field, but will now play at 7 p.m. Friday on Norman’s home field. Southmoore’s game against Edmond North will now be played at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Millwood’s game against Star Spencer also had to be postponed, but for different reasons. After a bolt of lightning struck near the field, the stadium lights could not be turned back on. Officials were forced to move the game to 7 p.m. Friday.
