OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Covington-Douglass Wildcats lost only two seniors to graduation, and will be banking on the experienced roster. The Class’s powerhouse, Shattuck, fell last year for the first time in eight seasons, but they won’t be the only obstacle for Covington-Douglass.
The Wildcats’ have two quarterbacks, which is a “problem” head coach Brad Smith doesn’t consider a bad thing. He looks at having two QB’s as flexibility for the team, both bringing attributes to the games.
Dylan Sterling brings the speed, while Brett Stopp brings a strong arm, both allowing the offensive coaching to be creative.
