OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma -- The Henrietta Knights are focused on improving from a disappointing 1-9. They’ve dropped some slacking seniors from last year, they looking forward to playing with some new move-ins and they’re determined to make leadership a priority.
Cody McKinney will be returning as the Knight’s starting quarterback. With one year of experience under his belt, McKinney feels more confident in a slower game pace and in the receivers he’ll be looking for, including running back Kalon Moore.
The team is 0-3 against rivals Morris, but look forward to the season’s week two matchup. It’ll be a sweet victory for the Knights if they can beat them, not only to redeem themselves against the Eagles, but to beat them on the Morris homecoming night.
