Piedmont Ladycats Sophomore Pitches No Hitter

PIEDMONT, Oklahoma -- In the Ladycats’ season opener, sophomore pitcher Jordan Chism pitched a no hitter to lead No. 6 Piedmont to a 5-0 win over the Shawnee Lady Wolves.

Chism allowed just two base runners in the seven-inning win, walking one and hitting one batter. Of the 21 outs, 12 came via strikeout in the complete game win.

The Ladycats will be back in action Thursday in the Tuttle Tournament.
