OKLAHOMA CITY-- The old phrase “Iron sharpens iron” proves true for Millwood’s Brandon Swindall. The 6-foot-3-inch receiver grew up playing with older brother Tramain Swindall, a receiver at Texas Tech, and now practices alongside one of the state’s top recruits and Texas commit, Josh Turner.
The fact that he’s surrounded by talented players at Millwood only helps him hone his skills and work at perfecting his game.
“A lot of corners in 2A are not as good as Josh Turner is,” Brandon Swindall said. “In practice, we always compete, so it’s real good that we have a lot of talent on our team.”
The senior is getting looks from Division I schools, but has yet to make his decision.
“I’m going to wait and see how it all turns out,” Brandon Swindall said.
The Millwood Falcons kickoff their season September 2 with an away game at Star Spencer.
“I’m going to wait and see how it all turns out.”
