Santa Fe South Football Coach Dies

Mike Cartmill died suddenly in his home Sunday.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Santa Fe South head football coach Mike Cartmill died Sunday.

The nature of Cartmill’s death remains unknown.

Cartmill served as the Saints head coach since 2005 and was a teacher at the school. His wife Janet also worked at the school as a secretary.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Edmond on Wednesday at 10 a.m. The school will also hold a candlelight vigil on its football field Tuesday night at 9 p.m.
