OKLAHOMA CITY – In a battle of two top-10 teams, Bishop McGuinness had to hold off a late push to defeat Ardmore 70-68 Tuesday.
McGuinness led by as much as seven points in the fourth quarter, but Ardmore continued to fight and would not go away. The Irish, who entered the night ranked No. 2 in Class 4A, are now 16-6. Ardmore, which was No. 7 in Class 5A, falls to 13-9.
