TULSA, Oklahoma – Edison ruined senior night for Central on Tuesday with a 57-50 victory over the Braves.
Central’s Corey Frazier had a game-high 18 points, while Desmond Butler led the way for the Eagles with 14.
After Edison stormed out to a 12-3 lead in the first, Frazier took over for Central and cut the lead to 14-9. The Eagles held the Braves at bay for the rest of the quarter, though, and went into the second period with a 19-12 lead.
Central made another run early in the second quarter and cut the Eagle lead to three points on a Milton Harper base line drive bucket. But with a heavy dose of Steven Hamilton and Butler, Edison controlled the pace for the rest of the quarter and led by nine at halftime.
Central would keep the game close in the second half, but came up short in the end.
