SHAWNEE, Oklahoma -- The top-seeded Tecumseh Savages faced the No. 8-seeded Davenport Bulldogs at the Pottawatomie County Tournament Monday.

The Savages jumped out to an early lead, outscoring the Bulldogs 24-4 in the first quarter.

Tecumseh’s Henry Weaver ended the game with 14 points for the Savages, while his teammate, Kevin Hill, also recorded 14 points, all of which came in the game’s first quarter.

The Savages won the matchup against the Bulldogs, 77-39 and will progress to the semifinals to face the Earlsboro.
