Ryan Falls to Canton Tigers in Semifinals

NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Normally when a head coach looks at the schedule and sees the football juggernaut/Oklahoma high school Garber slotted for next week, an audible groan follows.

Well, forgive Canton head coach Rob Davis if he breaks that tradition.

A 42-12 win over Ryan earned the Tigers a trip to the Class B championship game, where Garber awaits after a dominant 62-12 win over Laverne.

Garber is the defending champion in the class, while Canton was stymied in the semifinals last season.
