Midwest City Bombers Hold Off P.C. North

MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma – The Midwest City Bombers held off a late comeback to earn a 21-16 win over Putnam City North Friday.

The Bombers carried a 21-3 lead into the fourth quarter, but allowed two touchdowns and the offense could not pull away. But the Midwest City defense stepped up and shut down a late drive to secure the 21-16 win.

Midwest City will now move on to face Broken Arrow, which crushed Enid 45-13 Friday.
