El Reno Indians Finish Undefeated With Win Over Duncan

The Indians clinched a No. 1 seed with the win over the Demons, who came into the night also undefeated in district play.

EL RENO, Oklahoma – The El Reno Indians clinched an undefeated season and district championship Friday with a 14-7 win over the Duncan Demons.

El Reno (10-0, 7-0) scored its fewest points of the season, and failed to score more than 30 points for the first time since Oct. 2 against Chickasha. Duncan (8-2, 6-1) entered the night tied with El Reno for first place in District 5A-1.

The Indians will now move on to the state playoffs, where they will take on the winner of the Durant-Ardmore game.
