TULSA, Oklahoma – The Holland Hall Dutch have had an up and down this season. The Dutch entered Friday night’s game against Casady with a 4-4 overall record but capped off the regular season in style. The Dutch rode a big second half on offense to a 35-12 win over the Cyclones.

Leading 7-6 at the half, the Dutch kicked off to Casady. The Cyclones got a big jolt from Cale Shivers, who took a reverse and beat the Dutch down the sideline for a long touchdown return. The score gave the Cyclones a 12-7 lead and some much needed momentum.

Holland Hall didn’t back down. The Dutch marched down the field and retook the lead on a Jay Swab 19-yard touchdown pass to Jake Freudenrich. The score gave Holland Hall a 14-12 lead.

The defense has been the story for Casady the past month. The Cyclones started the season 7-0, allowing just 61 points combined in those games. Since then, the Cyclones have given up over 90 in just three contests.

Kwame Sexton led the Dutch on offense. The junior running back powered his way to 269 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Sexton single-handedly put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter with touchdown runs of 64 and 27 yards inside of eight minutes to go in the game.

Holland Hall finishes the regular season with a winning record at 5-4. Casady, after winning its first seven games, have lost four straight and finish up the regular season on the road next week in Dallas against S.P.C.
