OKLAHOMA CITY -- Daniel Farrow looked liked his school name as the Mustang star ran wild on Putnam North in the seventh-ranked Broncos 46-14 victory over the No. 10 Panthers. Farrow scored three touchdowns and rushed for 314 yards.
The senior did most of his damage in the first half finding the end zone three times and gaining 252 yards. Farrow did not play the fourth quarter.
“It was the best we played this year on both sides of the ball at the same time,” Broncos coach Ty Prestidge said. “We felt they were the one of the balanced teams we played all season. We felt like it was a great test for us.”
The Broncos (6-2, 4-1) are in a three-way tie for first place in District 6A-1. However, there is no rest for the weary.
“If you’re in our district you can’t get too excited about a win or too down about a loss, because there will be somebody around the corner ready to hit you in the nose,” Prestidge said. “Whoever the top four that are still standing from our district will be playoff ready.”
