OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Shattuck Indians can now stake claim to a part of history.
It was over six years ago that the Shattuck Indians last felt the agony of defeat, and now they can say that they have one of the most dominant programs in 8-man football history after winning their 90th straight game 46-32 against Sharon-Mutual.
Shattuck is not only winning these games, they have been nothing short of dominant in the seven seasons since that playoff loss years ago.
Thirty of the 90 straight wins for the Indians have been shutouts. Shattuck has scored a cumulative 4,046 points in the six-and-a-half seasons since they lost last, while only giving up 810 points.
That averages out at slightly more than 47 points per game, while only surrendering nine.
The Indians can take sole possession of the record next week at home against Goodwell.
