EDMOND, Oklahoma – The Edmond Santa Fe Wolves played their second Edlam game in as many weeks Friday, and came away with a second loss, this time 15-6 at the hands of Edmond Memorial.
The loss to Memorial comes a week after a heartbreaking 14-13 loss to Edmond North, and brings the Wolves’ record to 0-2 after they lost two games all of last season.
This is the first year in recent memory that the Wolves have started their season with losses to both of their Edlam rivals. Coming into this season, they had four-game winning streaks against both teams.
The Wolves will be looking for their first win of the season Sept. 18 against Putnam City West, which is currently on a 15-game losing streak.
